March 16, 2011 - 4:30PM
As a precursor to this summer's workshop at Harvard University, Justin Reich brings a webinar designed for school leaders working to make 21st century learning an essential element of school culture and intellectual life. The workshop is organized around three core themes:
- Why Change? Making the case for 21st century skills instruction.
- What Does Change Look Like? Envisioning and enacting 21st century skills instruction across schools.
- Assessing Change in Changing Times: Monitoring school progress towards 21st century skill goals.
Justin discusses strategies for guiding diverse stakeholder groups—students, teachers, parents, administrators, school board members—on the imperatives of 21st century skills instruction.
Who Should Attend? School leaders: principals, curriculum specialists, IT directors, academic technology specialists, teacher-leaders with formal roles (such as coach or department chair) and teacher-leaders without formal title, but with a desire to help change instruction in their school communities.
