EdTechTeacher is looking to hire additional full-time and 50% part-time onsite instructors with responsibilities for designing and conducting professional learning workshops, developing tech-integration articles, videos and training materials, presenting at educational technology conferences, participating in business development activities, and supporting educators in online communities.
An EdTechTeacher onsite instructor is responsible for preparing and delivering EdTechTeacher professional development workshops and presentations that support teachers and other educators in the use of technology to foster growth in critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, innovation, engagement, and self-expression. The position requires travel throughout the United States (and potentially internationally) to lead workshops and presentations at a variety of K-12 schools: urban and rural public schools, private and independent schools, parochial schools, and suburban public schools.
The Instructor will also lead sessions at EdTechTeacher’s twice-yearly “Summit,” and other EdTechTeacher events, and present at mutually agreed-upon conferences.
The instructor is also responsible for using non-workshop days to develop edtech content for publication, such as tech-integration blog posts and video tutorials, and to develop training and tutorial materials, such as slideshows and websites, for school faculty and administrators. The instructor will also contribute to online discussion forums as part of EdTechTeacher’s online courses and programs.
The instructor is expected to participate actively in social media to further edtech, and also to participate in EdTechTeacher’s outreach and marketing goals.
