iPadWe have been incredibly busy at EdTechTeacher as summer workshops have officially transitioned into back-to-school professional development across the country. Tom, Greg, and Beth have traveled to Louisiana, Ohio, Connecticut, Idaho, and Massachusetts to help teachers begin to prepare for the coming school year.

If you missed it last week, we also released our End of Summer Newsletter. Here are a few highlights!

Weekly Resources & Suggestions

Many apps can share/copy to WebDAV. In fact, we have explored options of using Otixo as a cloud-based webDAV server. This free app seems to connect to an internally hosted WebDAV server for uploading/sharing files.

PDF Editor for Mac – Edit, Convert and Annotate PDF file | Wondershare

Wondershare lets you edit PDFs from a Mac. It is less expensive than the full version of Acrobat. A great classroom example came from an EdTechTeacher summer workshop participant. She created a Wordle, which she saved as a PDF. Then she inserted a QR code into it that linked back to additional information on her blog.
