A year long cohort aimed at supporting Instructional and Technology Coaches by creating a space for collaboration, reflection, and networking.

This year-long cohort aims to support Instructional and Technology coaches who represent a range of experience and skill sets, from newbie to ninja! Instructors will provide tools, resources, and a supportive environment among coaching peers to discuss the triumphs and challenges of the coaching role in districts across the country. All participants will have a voice in discussions and help to shape our collaborative coaching PLN.
Two monthly meetings with assignments in between

All meetings are 7 – 8PM EST held on Google Meet. All participants must have a Google account. Assignments for graduate credit will be due on Google Classroom prior to the second monthly meeting.
The first meeting of each month will focus on delivering content and strategies to coaches focused on selected topics.
During the second monthly meeting, we will share work among peers, and participate in open discussion in a coaching cohort format.
Professional Development Points and Grad Credit
Participants can earn up 40 or 70 PDPs or an optional Graduate Credit from Worcester State University.
40 PDPs require 5 hours per month:
70 PDPs or Graduate Credit require 8.5 hours per month
Meet the Instructors
Jess Brittingham grew up in Mission Viejo, California, and moved to Boston for college in 1997. Jess earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in History from UMass Boston in 2000. She earned a Master’s Degree in Professional Writing from UMass Dartmouth in 2007. She taught fourteen years of high school English in Westport and Dartmouth before assuming her role as Technology Integration Specialist with Uxbridge Public Schools. Jess is a Google Certified Trainer, a Google Certified Coach, and is a MassCUE Instructor. Jess began working on her doctorate degree in Educational Leadership and Equity in May 2022, and expects to graduate in 2025. Jess has presented several times at MassCUE, and has also presented at ACTEM in Maine, CMTC in New Hampshire, and ISTE in New Orleans. Jess lives with her musical family in New Bedford, MA, and is the proud mother of 2 girls, Rowan and Harper, and the proud-stepmother of 3 boys, Christopher, Matthew, and Zachary.

Jen Thomas is a passionate technology educator who began her career in education as a library media specialist. After twelve years in the school library, she decided to shift her role and is now the Instructional Technology Specialist at Dartmouth High School in Dartmouth, Massachusetts. She is dedicated to empowering teachers and students and has a strong interest in planning and delivering professional development in all aspects of educational technology. Jen is a Google Certified Educator, Google Certified Trainer, Google Certified Coach, and New England GEG Leader, and member of the Board of Directors for MassCUE (ISTE affiliate). Jen has presented at MassCUE, ACTEM in Maine, CMTC in New Hampshire, and ISTE in New Orleans. She facilitates online professional development courses with a number of non-profit educational organizations and resides in Rhode Island with her husband, Charlie, and their three children, Cooper, Noah, and Caroline.
