While we cannot predict what the future looks like, we do know that innovation and creativity are skills that our students and school leaders will need. Design Thinking has emerged as a proven framework to support people in developing a creative opportunity identifying & problem-solving mindset. The value of embracing Design Thinking in a classroom or school environment is that it provides not only a framework that can foster creative and innovative thinking, but it helps develop valuable mindsets that extend beyond isolated projects. Attendees will develop an increased comfort level with the process and purpose of design thinking. Further, workshop participants will understand how to leverage design thinking to redesign student experience and how to create an environment where students can use design thinking as a process to foster creativity and innovation.
