Webinar: Creative Uses of Google Jamboard

Join EdTechTeacher instructors, Avra Robinson & Greg Kulowiec, for an hour-long webinar in which they explore multiple creative uses of the Google Jamboard environment. A collaborative whiteboard tool within G Suite and Google Drive, Jamboard creates a great deal of potential for educators creating content, instructional videos and digital experiences for students. Collaborative student workspaces, assignments in Google Classroom, a teacher workspace for math instruction or a brainstorming environment, there are countless practical applications of Jamboard for remote learning.

Meet the Instructors
Prior to joining EdTechTeacher, Greg spent eight years as a high school history teacher and one year as a technology integration specialist in Plymouth, Massachusetts. He began integrating technology into his classroom with early mobile devices including iPods and cell phones. An early adopter of iPads, Chromebooks and 1:1 environments, Greg quickly transitioned to integrating Project Based Learning Environments. Work that his students created during their studies of the Arab Spring of 2011 was featured on National Public Radio.
Since 2012 as a full time instructor with EdTechTeacher, Greg brings a dynamic approach to technology integration that is paired with powerful instructional frameworks such as Project Based Learning and Design Thinking. Greg works with school districts and teachers throughout the country in workshops and year long professional development to explore thoughtful and effective uses of technology. Greg is a Google Certified Trainer, a Microsoft Innovative Educator, and the co-host of the “So We’ve Been Thinking Podcast”. Greg has presented at MassCue, NCSS, MASCD, ISTE, Google’s Global Education Summit and the EdTechTeacher Innovation Summits. Greg lives in Newburyport, MA with his wife and two children.
Meet the Instructors
Avra Robinson is the Director of Online Learning and an Instructor for EdTechTeacher, as well as an Adjunct Faculty member for Kishwaukee College in Malta, Illinois. An authorized Google Education Trainer and dedicated educational technologist, Avra has been working with teachers and students for over 20 years. Prior to joining EdTechTeacher, Avra was first a classroom teacher and later the Instructional Technology Coordinator and coach for a K-8 school district in Northern Illinois. During that time, she worked with teachers and students on a daily basis as they worked towards total Common Core State Standards integration in a 1:1 program that included Chromebooks, iPads, and Windows laptops. Avra has presented at local and regional conferences sharing ideas about digital publishing, coaching teachers, Google Apps for Education, and more.
