Learn to leverage the built-in camera and inherent mobility of the iPad as a tool students can use to quickly and easily create videos. At the iPad Summit in Boston this November, we will demonstrate how these devices are engaging students with video as formative and summative assessments from their English and Science classrooms. This video provides a glimpse into the information that will be presented.

Throughout the session, we will provide lessons adaptable to a range of content areas, grade levels, socioeconomic backgrounds, and device set-ups (1:1, cart, or several:1). Teachers will even learn how to incorporate student created video in their classes even if they only have one iPad. As part of our session, we are preparing an iTunes U course that will incorporate resources and examples of student work; this course will be made available to all participants.
