Douglas Kiang is a technology integration specialist with over 20 years of teaching experience at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Tufts University and a Master’s Degree in Technology Innovation & Education from Harvard. In 2007, he was one of two Massachusetts teachers to be honored as an Apple Distinguished Educator, recognizing his innovative work with iPods in the middle school curriculum.
Douglas currently works at Punahou School in Honolulu, Hawaii where he teaches computer science and provides technology professional development to faculty. A lifelong gamer, he is the author of five bestselling game strategy guides, and his latest book on Minecraft in Education is soon to be published by Peachpit Press.
