Marta McAlister is a former teacher turned Googler who drives the voice of educators in product and program development. Marta has worked at Google for over 13 years and currently manages teams building Google’s teaching and learning products, like Google Classroom, and bringing them to market. Most recently, Marta has expanded her leadership to bringing Enterprise products – like ChromeOS and Chrome Browser – to market, and now leads commercialization and sales enablement for both the Education and Enterprise go-to-market teams.
Outside of work, Marta is engaged with the Boston Chamber of Commerce, the Tech Advisory Board for UP Academy Network, and the Emerging Leaders Board for Massachusetts Business Alliance for Education (MBAE). She graduated from Brown University and has her M.Ed in childhood and special education from Hunter College. Inspired by her family and friends around the globe, Marta enjoys traveling like a local, lacing up her sneakers to run and explore.
