Shawn O’Neill is an experienced elementary classroom teacher, college professor, curriculum designer, and presenter. She spent over 24 years teaching in the elementary-level classroom and is currently a professor at Bridgewater State University, teaching in the Elementary and Early Education Department. Shawn has served in a variety of leadership roles during her time in the elementary schools, including being a building technology coach, science curriculum team member, mentor teacher, curriculum developer and presenter, and district technology team member. She has offered several workshops using AI for elementary teachers, using AI for creaivity and AI in Science curriculum, as well as presenting at Science/STEM conferenes across the country.

Shawn earned her B.A. in Speech and Language Pathology from the University of Connecticut as well as her Masters of Arts in Teaching at Simmons University. She is currently earning her Doctorate at the University of Massachusetts Lowell in Educational Leadership with a STEM Focus. Shawn holds multiple current educational certifications including being a Certified Google Educator, a Newsela Certified Teacher Trainer and Educator, a Magic School Pioneer and Certified Educator, a Formative Certified Trainer, an Apple Certified Teacher, Adobe Authorized Training Partner, a BrainPOP Certified Educator, as well as a Wakelet Certified Educator.
