Full Year AI Cohort Course

Ten 90-minute sessions over the school year will each dive into specific aspect of AI in education and give educators a chance to apply what they have learned.

How it Works

This year-long cohort provides an in-depth exploration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the realm of education. Each session is tailored to shed light on a specific aspect of AI in Education. Attendees can expect a holistic understanding of how these tools can be leveraged to enhance teaching and learning experiences. The series will cover an introduction to AI and ChatGPT, AI tools for teachers, applications in classrooms, ethical considerations surrounding AI use, and the future of AI in education. The series aims to support educators who represent a range of experience and skill sets, and all levels and abilities are welcome.

Optional Graduate credit (1) from Worcester State University $125.

Monthly 90-minute Virtual Sessions

Each session covers a specific aspect of AI in education (detailed below) including a 30-minute demo of a useful AI tool.

Cohort 1 Held Mondays 7pm-8:30pm Eastern
Cohort 2 Held Wednesdays 7pm-8:30pm Eastern
Cohort 3 Held Thursdays 7pm-8:30pm Eastern (starting November 9 – Recordings available to still jump in!)

$500 for all 10 Sessions

Earn PDP or Graduate Credit too ($125 extra through Worcester State)! A la carte sessions are not available for a collaborative learning experience for the group.

Meet the Instructor

Allison (Alli) McCrary is a Digital Learning Teacher and Instructional Coach with over 20 years of experience in public education. With a passion for technology in education and media production, Alli has developed a diverse range of skills and expertise which she loves sharing with others.


Prior to her mid-life career change, Alli was a Video and Website Producer for WGBH, Channel 2 Boston, and as a Video and Television Producer for MCET, Massachusetts Corporation for Educational Telecommunications. Alli earned a B.A. in Mass Communication, Television Production from Franklin Pierce University, a M.Ed. from Cambridge College, and completed the Educational Technology Licensure Program at Lesley University.


In addition to her current work in the classroom, Alli has held numerous leadership positions in the Waltham Public Schools, run countless professional development workshops, and presented for PD Collaborative and MassCue. Her current passion is in AI in Education, and she has developed programs, workshops and courses on the topic. She’s a runner, reader, and yogi, and lives in Waltham , MA with her family, including two loud Siamese cats.
