Are you a teacher at a Microsoft School? Are you looking to get a better understanding of how to leverage Microsoft tools to help your students? A great place to start is with Microsoft Quick Guides. These concise resources show you how to make effective use of some of the more powerful, but often overlooked features of Microsoft Office such as Speaker Coach, Reading Coach, and Immersive Reader.
The Microsoft Quick Guide for Immersive Reader
Quick Guides are single page resources that distill features to their essence and lay out the options that exist to improve your instruction. In addition to simplifying the learning process, Quick Guides are clear about which of the Microsoft 365 platforms include the tools. The Immersive Reader is one of my favorite Microsoft tools. Immersive Reader can help students to adjust text to make it easier to process and understand. It allows them to interact with the text, translate it, label the parts of speech and use the picture dictionary to help understanding. A tool with so many possibilities might seem cumbersome at first but using the Quick Guides, you can easily understand the tool, learn how to leverage its power quickly.
Here is the Microsoft Immersive Reader Quick Guide so you can take a look and use these free guides to make the most of Microsoft 365 for Learning.
